QIC: Draftee

Date: 06-26-2026

PAX: Rollback, Slowpitch, Tonka, Rudolph, Pele' (WB), Rubber Ducky, Wahoo, Hugo (WD), and Draftee.

The Thang

The Tour made its way to Western Front for an NFL Combine-inspired beatdown.

The PAX paired up based on similar ability and IQ before being drafted onto Team Orange or Team Blue.

The Combine events included:

  • Shuttle Run Relay
  • 3-Cone (L-Drill) Relay
  • Merkin Test
  • Wall Sit
  • 40-Yard Dash Relay
  • Murder Bunny & Bear Crawl with a Push Relay

The workout concluded with two minutes of Mary.

Everything was completed as planned.

The Story

Every NFL prospect eventually gets measured.

Speed.

Strength.

Agility.

Explosiveness.

This morning was no different.

The shuttle relay was the perfect opener. It looked simple on paper, but by the second trip everyone realized it would be a much longer morning than expected.

The L-Drill reminded the PAX that changing direction at full speed is a learned skill. Nobody mastered it on the first attempt, but everyone improved on the second.

The wall sit revealed that there are apparently several interpretations of a ninety-degree angle. Some leaned comfortably against the wall. Most hovered somewhere around 120 degrees. A select few actually found 90 degrees.

All were still better for it.

The 40-yard dash proved to be the perfect sprint to close the speed portion of the Combine. Everyone understands forty yards. Running it twice at full speed is another story.

The final event—Murder Bunny followed by Bear Crawl with a Push—shifted the challenge from physical to mental. Each trip took several minutes, forcing every HIM to embrace the grind one cone at a time.

While teammates waited for their leg of each relay, nobody stood around. The PAX chose their own adventure to keep the heart rate elevated: high plank, side straddle hops, mountain climbers, or air squats.

Perhaps the best part of the morning wasn’t a particular event at all.

It was the encouragement.

There was very little trash talk between Team Orange and Team Blue. Instead, teammates pushed one another, celebrated each effort, and made each other better.

That sounds a lot like:

Show up. Lift your brother up. Bring an FNG.

Tour Update

No FNGs this morning.

The race for the belt continues.
