COT/BOM:  YHC took us out with prayer for doctor’s appointments, waivers, traveling mercies and homesick daughters.

FIN.

NMM

That was fun.  And at least somewhat effective, according to YHC’s Garmin.  1.43 miles covered.  382 calories burned.  Sprint/Anaerobic rating with 2.6/5 Aerobic and 2.6/5 Anaerobic.  Exercise Load 122.

If you haven’t seen the documentary, you should.  It’s one of the best 30 for 30s out there.  You can stream it on ESPN and/or Netflix, I think.

@SgtShultz was glad to be invited and only accepted the invitation based on the No-Rush Guarantee.

@Manscape is 6 years older than Arnold Palmer was on June 17, 1994.  #BeastMode #WarDaddy

Cobains to @Lemming for making him relieve the devastating disappointment of a young but lifelong Knicks fan in 1994.

Tclaps to @TheSingingCowboy for sticking with YHC during the Ken Griffey, Jr. tabata when YHC got confused trying to be the game show host and got off kilter on which exercise to do.

@Wobegon seemed bored during the hockey section because his beloved Canes didn’t yet exist (except as the Hartford Whalers) in 1994

YHC thinks @Bluto may have gotten the most trivia questions right.  But that may have been just because YHC is old and doesn’t hear well over the booming speaker but @Bluto was at least right next to him.

Again, @Autobot wasn’t even alive in 1994.

@BAM got pissed off and left early.

@SilverFox was saying something about being a former butcher, but YHC (as mentioned above) is old and doesn’t hear well.

@Interference left his phone in the bushes but was not seen using it during the quiz show portion of the workout.  #NoCheating

Toad The Wet Sprocket sung “Fall Down”.  Speaking of the playlist, 1994 was a banner year for Alternative Music:

  • Come Out and Play (The Offpring) (#GottaKeepEmSeparated)
  • Fell On Black Days (Soundgarden) (#HowWouldIKnow?)

  • Basket Case (Green Day) (#DoYouHaveTheTimeToListenToMeWhine?)
  • Longview (Green Day) (#ISitAroundAndWatchTheTube)
  • Buddy Holly (Weezer) (#OohWeeOoh)
  • Cut Your Hair (Pavement) (#OohOohOohOohOoh)

  • Fall Down (Toad The Wet Sprocket) (#JumpBackGottaGetOuttaHere)
  • The Man Who Sold The World – Live (Nirvana – Unplugged in New York) (#OhNoNotMe)

Thanks for the honor and privilege of leading this morning.

Your friend,

Starfish

Looks like another good’un from Starfish. Maybe the best at making cohesive workout plans and corresponding playlists. 👏 Even if YHC never heard of any of that new music. 👴🏻
