Thirteen PAX gathered in the gloom to face two legendary heavy hitters: Dora and Charles Bronson. The air was cool but not cold, no rain (yet), and the EC runners were stretching it out as we prepared to take on the Coal Pit and the Parking Deck.

The PAX stayed tight, the pace was set by Starfish, and enjoyed by all.

Station 1: Charles Bronson in the Coal Pit
The PAX started at the baseline with a high-rep exercise, moseyed to the midpoint, transitioned to a Bear Crawl to the end, then moseyed all the way back to start the next

50 Merkins
50 LBCs
50 Low Flutters
50 Squats

Dearly beloved, we are gathered today to get through this thing called life…and the Q got the promised tunes going around Merkin 30, the sweet sounds of The Purple One and ‘Let’s Go Crazy’ got us moving.

The excicon calls for burpees in the Charles Bronson, but the Q made a promise. So it’s really the Charlie Brownson, I guess? Whatever, still good.

Station 2: DORA in the Parking Deck
Partnering up, one PAX member performed the exercises while the other ran the length of the first-floor deck. We chipped away at the following totals:

100 Mountain Climbers
200 Dry Docks
300 Alternating Lunges

The lunges took a minute. And hey, Spicoli showed up!

Back to start for Mary in the gentle rain.

Solid work by everyone today.

• Starfish was bustin’ with pride all morning as the Dad-Tan with his boy’s first TV appearance, rightfully. He also liked the playlist.
• Tammy does the dang thing everytime and today was no exception
• Schlitz has new ink and the same personality. While he didn’t swear once on TV, he may have regretted a recent comment to the M whch the FCC should have stopped as well.
• Spicoli runs a solid AO and jumped into the Dora fresh as a daisy.
• Dr. Toot is just as fast as guys half his age and honestly, where would F3 be without him?
• Drip always has a kind word and solid pace.
• Turnover clearly crushed the EC run and the rest of the workout, showing us as an F1 should.
• Slowpitch was a perfect Dora partner to YHC and clearly carried the effort.
• Burns was dressed pretty much exactly like Spicoli and also dismantled the EC run and workout as only an AP can.
• Chisel is SO back, baby. Love to see it.
• Palin has been known to talk more than he did today, but he still did. Beardy, we call him. HIM through and through.
• Zephyr. Look. man, not everyone can pull off this recent weight vest fashion trend sweeping the Dash Pax, but you can. Nicely done.
