Frank ‘n Beans sent out the bat signal last week for a Q.  Knowing that posting motivation would be low the week after Ragnar, YHC snapped it up as incentive to get back going.  Lingering effects from the race incentivized a milder plan than otherwise would have occurred.

• SSHs, Standing Hammies, Abe Vigodas, Whirlies, Up/Down Dawgs, Cherry Pies

The Thang:

Short mosey to the playground area.  Pax were informed that there were four stations scattered around the perimeter, each with 3 exercises on the weinkes.  Instructions were to rotate around the stations and perform 5 reps of each exercise, adding 5 reps each round.

• Station 1 – Picnic tables: Dips, Step-Ups (DC), X-Factors
• Station 2 – Top of stairs: Derkins, Calf Raises, Prom Dates
• Station 3 – Far side of playground picnic tables: Dive Bombers, Squats, Heels to Heaven
• Station 4 – Swings: Pull-ups, Toy Soldiers,

Around round 4 (0608), either Frostbite or Lysol said something like, “You can’t let the FNG not experience the Intimidator!”  So, everyone aborted their current exercise and ran up to Jersey.  That was fun and smart.

We hustled back to launch for 2 minutes of Mary:

• Penguin Crunch
• American Hammers
• Low Flutters + LBCs
• Imperial Troopers
• No-Cheat (Hand-Release) Merkins

NMM:

• Frostbite had tipped YHC off about Lysol’s planned attendance + his bringing an FNG. JJ Mallet is an NC State grad, is currently completing his graduate business degree remotely at State, works at Hanes in marketing data analytics, including intimates, but wishes he was working at Reynolds.  Oh, and he’s dating Lysol’s 2.0.  Lots of material.  We explored something related to Lysol (Clorox, Windex), but several pax wisely objected on the grounds that we’d have a real problem if the relationship didn’t work out.  YHC thought “Victoria’s Microbe” would be great, but the length was objected to by Palin.  Lysol said something that made YHC think of Fruit of the Loom, and Bloomers rhymes with Loom.  Lysol endorsed the idea once it was clarified that it would be plural Bloomers and not singular Bloomer.  Welcome, Bloomers!
• Nantan Emeritus Lysol gave current Nantan Frostbite a lot of grief about his tardy arrival.
• The Palin acrostic for the Mary portion was generated last weekend during Ragnar by several pax who all expressed a yearning for the bearded man to be among us. He was touched.
• Turnover’s attendance was a pleasant surprise. He and Bloomers both performed their calf raises perched upon the wall in the circle which seemed difficult.  The rest of us went the staircase route.
• Spicoli was early today! He and Frostbite traded roles, with the Nantan pulling in as we are actively engaged in warmarama.  Spicoli warned YHC off from the pool as the cool weather last week and rain this week has turned the water frigid.
• YHC really intended to not run up the Intimidator today, having gauged it during a pre-workout walk, but felt pressured by the pax to not deny Bloomers the experience. In retrospect, it was good for us.
• As we departed COT, YHC recruited Bloomers to come to Tractors/OGs as he is a bit of a runner.

All said, YHC is glad to have grabbed the keys.  It was good being with you men this morning.
