It was a high school reunion of sorts on Monday AM at Launchpad – just the two of us former Riverwood Raiders for a light-on-the-legs bootcamp experience.

WoR: Extended Broga – a few sun salutations that I probably botched somewhere along the way but they felt good nonetheless. Then some SSH, Imperial things, Whirlies, and Michael Phelps

The thang, pt 1: Rock work. Grab a rock and head to the top of the parking lot. 5 exercises – curls, OH press, bent over row, skull crushers, and front raise. Start with 5, then add five each round up to 20, then subtract five back down to 5. At the end of each round, yog to the end of the parking lot and back.

The thang, pt 2: Dip circuit. 15 dips/10 irkins, 15 dips/10 merkins, 15 dips/10 derkins, 15 dips/10 irkins, 15 dips/10 merkins, 15 dips/10 derkins.

Mary: American hammers, lbcs, and Freddie Mercs.

NMM: Pollster texted afterwards that it’s incredible we didn’t talk about how much the Braves suck, or about the MLB trade deadline at all, or about the upcoming college football season. We mostly stuck to the less controversial topic of politics – those in our home state, our former home state, and some neighboring states. It was great. The weather was perfect, the beatdown was sufficient, and my legs are still fresh. Now just get me up to Cowboy’s place ASAP!

I am realizing now as I type this that we didn’t do a CoT and YHC did not take us out. Soooooo does that mean the workout doesn’t count? Am I now banished as a site Q? I still have the keys, but I clearly don’t know what to do with them. Maybe Rollback can teach me a thing or two next week.
