2 Mayhem Qs in a month for YHC. This is a high quality AO with pax hungry for a good beatdown every week (sounds like just about everywhere in F3WS) so I knew I had to deliver. An upper body beatdown was promised and pullups were teased via GenAI imagery, and still eight other dudes showed up to get after it. More on the ninth below.
WOR: Mobile. SSH, Whirlies, Hillbillies, Jack Reachers, and Michael Phelps, all (supposed to be) x12ic, all while heading towards the playground beside the elementary school.
THE THANG: 5 pullups, 15 merkins, 25 dips, 15 plank jacks, 5 pullups. Run a lap around the parking lot. Rinse and repeato for ~32 minutes. Head back to launch
MARY: By committee. Inchworms, H2H, Low Flutter, Penguins, Huck Merkins, and a couple others.
NMM: The nostalgia of being back in the school parking lot hit some of the Mayhem OGs hard (Drip, Zima). The EC run was exquisite (Zima, Schlitz). The Boot Brothers (Crash, Tonka) got after it despite their podiatric limitations. The WeFoCo Allstars (Wahoo, Subfloor) were pushing themselves to the max. The Site Q (Rollback) knocked out his pre-burpees and still led the way all beatdown. The sweat gallon produced by our 2nd F Q was a sight to behold (Schlitz). Then there’s Ziffel. Apparently EH’d by Zima yesterday, he did not make it to launch in time to see where we had gone off to and apparently didn’t want to try too hard to find us…he allegedly pulled into the parking lot at 0540 and waited around for us and then did Mary & CoT with the team.
ANNOUNCEMENTS: Zima is serving AI beers tonight now. Schlitz is encouraging us to all guzzle some hot wings tomorrow night and then post Friday AM. Subfloor put out the EH for Alcatraz Sat & Parliament Tues. CWTR will be at Corridor Trail on Sunday, launch to finish at 0730.
COT: The BOM was #juicy. Prayers for pax struggling with family challenges. YHC took us out.
