His legs flail about as if independent from his body!

Ah, Parliament, such a good AO and always a venerable group of pax. The Q promised no running and so here is what we did:

Warm-O-Rama, as you have come to know and love it.

Short walk to the bus cover area.

Fast Feet/Shoulder Taps:

  • IC, 10 shoulder taps
  • IC, 10 fast feet
  • IC, 15 shoulder taps
  • IC, 15 fast feet
  • IC, 20 shoulder taps
  • IC, 20 fast feet
  • IC, 15 shoulder taps
  • IC, 15 fast feet
  • IC, 10 shoulder taps
  • IC, 10 fast feet

#CrowdPleaser. DQ told us this kind of workout is called a Riverdance—both because it is boring and because of the leg movement. It’s tough…but fair.

Heart rate is up, over to the benches.

Subfloor actually requested music, even Rush, at this point. Duley noted, Tom Sawyer.

Benches

OYO:

  • 5 dips
  • 5 squatty pottys
  • Repeato-o with 10, 15, 10,5.

$5 Foot Long had a lot…like, a lot…of questions about the actual Squatty Potty. Do a Google, but not from your work computer.

Hey, teacher, leave those kids alone..on to the wall for….

No Run Dora

  • 100 Merkins
  • 200 LBCS
  • 300 Squats

Mode of transport: lunge walk.

On to the blocks:

Blocks

5, 10, 15, reps with the Qs flawless cadence and the pax clear adherence to said sonorous and well-timed tones.

  • Curls
  • Skulls
  • Bent Row
  • Chest Press, while looking at…the sky.

Blocks up, back to the circle for Mary.

  • Announcements: it was news to Cruiser, it would appear, but he has the Q at Alcatraz on Saturday.
  • New Happy Hour on 1st and 3rd weeks of the month, no one seemed to be positive on the details. Slack and/or Schlitz can answer questions. Drink up, boys!
  • Prayers for those traveling and assaulting mountains this weekend. Bruin’s wife had an injury but seems to be doing ok. Prayers appreciated.

A great group, as always. I have not seen $5 Foot Long in the Gloom for a while, It’s great to see him, he and Drano got an EC mosey in.

DQ, like everyone, loved the Riverdance portion of the workout, but my side straddle hop cadence was too slow for him.

Subfloor gave me some good nerd convo on the new Dune movie. He and Ziggy then continued the talk, Siskel and Ebert style for the rest of the workout while knocking out the reps. I hung back when they got into the Star Wars-Dune comparisons because I had things to get done later today, and you don’t want to get me started on such.

Bruin is full of good ideas. His concept of going home and coming back at 2 pm when it’s 70 degrees really should have been more deeply considered.

Site Q Extrdoinare Adobe put out the maximum effort the whole time; he even chose one of the big blocks.

Had the privilege of having Cruiser as my partner for Dora, that guy can kill some reps and then give you the physical therapy you will need afterwards. Thanks for the push.

Drano and Sixty Minutes timed their run almost perfectly to join for COT. Get them miles!

Adobe, thanks for the keys and the chance to lead this great group today. Excellent morning.
