Cruiser had been trying to get YHC out to the Western Side for a while, but a job change and weather adjustments kept postponing my return to VI until this AM. Spring Break started for me on Friday and I celebrated with a UA Q, followed it up with VI, and then Mayhem on Wednesday! I went back into my data and checked…I haven’t posted at VI since 2024 #whoops. It was good to be back.

Some number of runners went out for a couple miles EC, I think it was Zephyr, Cowboy, Blind Date, and Slowpitch. If I missed someone, sound off in the comments!

WoR: Standard fare, mosey to the lower track.

The Thang, pt. 1: SuperCollider

Partner up, run in different directions around the track. When you meet up, one partner does American Hammers while the other does 10 burpees. Continue on and flapjack when you meet again. Keep going until both partners do 30 burpees, then pick up the six. Mosey to the upper (less crowded) parking lot.

The Thang, pt. 2: DORA

Partner up with a new partner. One does the exercises while the other runs across the parking lot and back. No hijinks.

Good crew this morning. I’m not sure the weather could have been better. A few weight vests were spotted. Some partial vestectomies during the WWIIs #comfortisking. YHC had the pleasure of partnering with Cruiser and Singing Cowboy during The Thang(s), and both were pushing the pace. I-Beam is a newer pax but was vested up and crushed the whole thing. Slowpitch, I hope this was a good start to your SiteQ-ship.
