YHC was saddened gladdened when Turnover rolled up for the EC run. No extra naps needed, we get up early to get after it baby. We hit the #Flattest5KinDTWS and pushed the pace a little more than I anticipated we would. It was fine…the company was far superior to the activity.

We were joined by 4 other Urban Adventurers, and as soon as YHC recited the CPs and Mission Statement we began a mobile warmorama…no need for a Spicoli lap as he was there by 0526! We did some moseying with different stops for standard WoR fare. We went up 4th St and hung a left on Church St then bobbed and weaved until we found ourselves in the #ShadowOfThePeen aka Corpening Plaza.

The Thang: #Math

Each round, run around the plaza stopping at each corner for an increasing number of an exercise. Plank for the six after each trip around. Corner 1 is 1x the round #, 2 is 2x, 3 is 3x, and 4 is 4x. The rounds were as follows:

• Burpees (1, 2, 3, 4)
• WMDs (2, 4, 6, 8)
• Mike Tysons (3, 6, 9, 12)
• Bonnie Blairs (4, 8, 12, 16)
• Diamond Merkins (5, 10, 15, 20)
• Squat Jumps (6, 12, 18, 24)
• WWIIs (7, 14, 21, 28)
• American Hammers (8, 16, 24, 32)

Due to time constraints, we skipped the last two rounds (Merkins, Mountain Climbers) and did a mobile mary back to launch. I can’t remember all the exercises but there were definitely Mutton Crunches, and we did a Thistle when we got back to the park. Root Canal was very happy about that.

NMM

2 miles for a UA #ainthalfbad. Complaints were lodged but ultimately ignored. This weinke may make a reappearance at Flatline one of these days, since recycling saves the planet. Coffeeteria afterwards was a highlight – lots of conversation about the marital strife caused by dishwashers, dishwashing, and general kitchen and house hygiene. The laughs were raucous.

Prayers for Schlitz & the new baby, for Spicoli’s friends, for my MIL, and for something else spoken but since forgotten. YHC took us out praising the SkyQ for the promises of Easter.
