Weather hovering in low 70s but there was wet and heavy. What I surmised at 5:27 was going to be a typical group of regulars quickly turned into a tribe thirteen….. they just kept showing up. I say a tribe because we had multiple gents in every age bracket from 20s-60s plus our Nantan. What a group! Pleasantries were exchanged and time was called. Lets get after it! Our mission statement and core principals mostly reiterated…..the rest went like this.

Mosey to Parking Deck

Pullups and Burpees – Start with (10) pullups, run to opposite end of deck and (1) burpee. Each round one less pull up and one more burpee until you reach (1) pullup and (10) burpees.

Starting with (3) each and increasing by (3) on each level the PAX were instructed to:

• Bear Crawls
• Overhead Claps
• Merkins
• Big Boy Situps
• Squats

Once complete run up a level and repeato. We made (4) rounds.

Great group represented this morning. Been a minute since Drama Queen and I have posted together. DQ claimed he was getting brittle but the dude hung in from start to finish. Dr. Toot always can be relied on for a positive inspiration and guy to help with your merkins. Likewise, I had not seen Ziggy recently but his drive is still there. Spicoli was mostly on time and churned it out. I ran into Gold Watch at Conspiracy earlier this week. Much like Wobegon, Lamb Chop and Frostbite…. head up and grinded out every rep…….making it look easy. Van Gogh breezed on through but he was sweating at the end so I know he got his moneys worth. Schlitz could never come up with a better name. The man is walking and talking pop top with all the smiles and personality that come after you pull the tab. Cap that with drive that just doesnt stop. Rubber Ducky is simple. He is the duck…..dont count him out……he is rocking out and will show you what`s up. Loctite posted for the second time today..... I think. He was an FNG at Conspiracy and actually made the decision to come back........there is some grit there. I met Peach for the first time today and believe I heard it was his second post as well. Hung in all morning long. 

No secret that I am fanboy of Urban Assault. It was my first post ever back in 2018 and has remained my constant even when I have all but stopped posting anywhere else. Every Friday at UA is special but it really gets the adrenaline up when a group like this one comes together. Not done so intentionally, but the beatdown allowed for some conversation and MC throughout. Gents I enjoyed the heck out from start to finish. Thanks for showing up and allowing me to lead you this morning!
