Okay….it’s that time again. Back in the Village with my #wefoco Brothers; no idiots available, until Adobe arrives! ( And I always try to bring some Idiocy ).

I must throw out a disclaimer…..I called this one MoneyBall. I did watch this great movie the day prior to the workout, but as Sour Mash pointed out ” What does this have to do with Moneyball? “, I had to reply, absolutely nothing. Other than the fact that a portion of the workout was on a baseball field. Again, full disclosure.

Let us begin.

Warm-O-Rama:

SSH, Whirly w. Clap, Abe Vagoda, Leg Stretch L o R, and R o L, Plank, Shoulder Taps, Peter Parker w. Heel Tap ( I think only half the PAX heard the w. Heel Tap part, but oh well. ) All IC. ….. Ready…….Break. Enough of that crap.

The THANG:

Run down to the pull up bars.

All PAX do 10 Pull Ups.

This was about the time the Q figured out his “Ghetto Blaster” had finally reached its Batter EOL. I hadn’t charged it ( intentionally ) for about 4 weeks. I had heard the batter life was supposed to be about 20 hours and had never tested. Bad timing. Oh well. iPhones have great speakers, right? Not so much.

All PAX finished the 10 reps… now mosey down to the Baseball ” Field of Dreams “; wait, wrong movie.

Started at Home Plate.

 

Home: Do 24 ( for today’s date, again, no affiliation with the movie ) Hand Release Merkins.

– Bear Crawl to 1st.

1st: Do 24 Mike Tysons

– Crawl Bear to 2nd.

2nd: Do 24 Scorpion Dry Docks, R Leg.

– Crab Walk to 3rd.

3rd: Do 24 Scorpion Dry Docks; L Leg.

– Spider Crawl to Home.

 

Next Round:

Home: Do 24 LBC’s

– Lunge Walk to 1st.

1st: Do 24 Pickle Pounders

– Duck Walk to 2nd

2nd: Do 24 Monkey Humpers

– Butt Kicker to 3rd.

3rd: Do 24 Freddy Mercs

– Run Backwards to Home.

 

Next Round: PAX split up into two groups.

Time for a little Leg Wreckers.

Group 1 holds Al Gore.

Group 2 does Lt. Dans ( 1 squat, Lunge L & R Lunge, 2 squats, L & R Lunge, etc. ) until they reach the other group. Then Flip Flop.

Did this for 3 rounds.

 

Next Round:

Take a lap around the Soccer and Baseball fields. ( At this point, we lost a PAX. Kid school time . )

 

Next Round:

Took a trip up to the bench area.

Little 7 Layer Dip time…but I had to Omaha here. 24 Dips seemed like a little much, so we modified to 15 Reps.

Dips, L Step Ups, Dips, R Step Ups, Dips, Irkins, Dips, Derkins.

Back to the Parking Lot for some Mary.

 

Mary:

Penguin Crunch, Mutton Crunch L & R, Heels to Heaven, Pickle Pounders, and two other pop corn exercises I honestly can’t remember now. ( Post your full BB’s early gents )

We were on a baseball field; only thing that was remotely close to the movie.
There were a bunch of numbers; no Brad Pitt or Jonah Hill sightings.
