Post Hole sighting on a Tuesday!

YHC rolled up “on two wheels” according to TO, hopped out of Vasco* at 0529, gave a quick welcome and mission statement, and we began our mosey. We did a mobile WoR on the way from the launch to the Green St pedestrian bridge, consisting of SSHs, ISTs, Michael Phelps, and Whirlies, all x11 IC.

At the Green St bridge – 11 jump squats on the ballpark side, 1 Bonnie Blair (DC) on the West Salem side. Keep adding/subtracting by 1 until the whole circuit is complete.

Continued moseying w/semi-frequent stops for some more WoR exercises x11 IC – I think we did Jack Reachers & Toy Soldiers – to the backyard of the West Salem Public House (aka The House That Fokker Built).

At WSPH – 11 derkins & 11 dips. Subtract 1 all the way down to 1 of each.

Continued moseying w/semi-frequent stops for some more WoR exercises x11 IC – I think we did Windmills, arm swirlies forward & backward, and maybe one other – all the way back to launch. We went down Wachovia and up that beautiful Cherry St hill.

At launch for Mary – halfway up the lot do 11 American Hammers (dc), run to the end of the lot and do 1 LBC. Keep adding/subtracting by 1 until the whole circuit is complete.

Fin.

NMM – Lots of dudes getting after it this morning. We covered nearly 3 miles including our 11s circuits, got the heartrates up, zero hoodies were shed sadly but the thought may have crossed TO’s mind. Doogie gave me the HC yesterday, great to have him back out at a beatdown…he’s moving to Richmond soon for his residency in emergency med, so every morning in the gloom with him is precious! Bevo, VG, and TO all dominated the Mary circuit, finishing the entire thing before time was up. Post Hole had to take his dog to the vet in Greensboro so he was up anyway – great to see you on a Tuesday brother! Workbench & Huck made the drive over from WeFoCo in lieu of a run this morning so I made sure to get them the miles they so desperately wanted.

Announcements – I think there were some

CoT – Starfish, Frostbite, & co… Will’s memorial service is this Sunday at 3PM at First Pres.

Bevo, thanks for the keys. I left them among the kegs at the pub.

*Vasco is my white explorer. I’ve never named a car before, but I wanted to name this one and waffled between Vasco & Merriwether for a long time before settling on the first European to sail around the southern horn of Africa.
