What do you think about the monarchy?

QIC: Burns

Date: 9.14.22

PAX: IPC: Greenspan, Palin, Schlitz, Cruiser, Burns

Conspiracy: Frostbite, Mutton, Lambchop, Cherry Pie

Needing to knock out this weeks IPC and seeing that I had the Conspiracy Q this week, YHC decided to merge the two and make my life easier.

YHC arrived around 0515 to get the workout set up, the pax rolled in, YHC explained the format, and then after 15 SSH IC to get the blood flowing we began.

The workout comprised of six stations laid out in a star formation, with station 1 in the middle and stations 2-6 forming the outermost points of the star. Starting at station 1, pax would rotate around the star returning to station 1 after each point. The IPC was all block work, Conspiracy was all bodyweight work. IPC-ers had to rifle carry their coupon out to the stations and farmers carry it back, Conspirators just had to mosey.

The stations: (IPC / Conspiracy)

  1. 5 manmakers / 20 squats
  2. 10 we’re not worthys (front raises) / 10 diamond merkins
  3. 15 goblet squats / 15 bonnie blairs
  4. 20 skull crushers / 20 merkins
  5. 25 kb swings / 25 wwiis
  6. 30 curls / 30 ssh

45 minutes AMRAP

NMM: Cherry Pie switched the squats to burpees because he felt left out. Palin complained a lot about the wet grass. Palin was also the source of the BB title…I returned to the center of the star only to hear him ask that question to someone else. Greenspan was chief encourager and chief bulldog. Cruiser lapped everyone. Schlitz got his money’s worth…the dude just has no quit in him. Mutton added a running loop around the Y to get out of the grass and break up the reps. Frostbite had a birthday last week and is looking forward to no longer being the WB…from my experience it’ll take a few more years. Lamb Chop, aka President of the Anti-Iron Pax Challenge Guild, was happy for the modifications and got six full laps in.

No announcements, nary a requested prayer, YHC took us out with a full heart and thankfulness for all of you fine gentlemen.

Lambchop, thanks for the keys, they’re a little wet.
