Trip to the Village and unexpected guest

Has been a while since YHC has posted at VI. After arriving early to lay out the cones in the parking lot for the main event the WeFoCo stalwarts arrived to get our week started off strong.

WARM UPS

Some slow stretches, upward and downward dogs, before continuing to the track. Moseyed around the track stopping at intervals for SSH, imperial walkers, whirlies, abe vigodas, and arm swirly things before retuning to the parking lot.

THE THANG

Three cones at 15/30/45 yards with three exercises repeated at each station.

First round: bear crawl to each station, then 15 each of merkins, carolina dry docks, wide merkins. Bear crawl back to the start

Second round: bunny hop, then 15 each of jump squats, monkey humpers, calf raises at each station,  bunny hop back

Third round: lunge walk, then 15 each of  plank jacks, LBCs, Heels to Heaven and lunge walk back

had time for one more round, bear crawl and choose one exercise for 10 reps each station and return.

Finished up with MARY and time.

Very last exercise of the workout YHC noticed a familiar figure getting on his 6 as we finished up with WWIIs – none other than Bullwinkle joining us with exactly one minute to spare! Looks like he’s almost ready to resume the free workouts and ditch the Y,  great to see him out!
