Block Time at Parliament

It was a lovely morning at the home of Root Canal’s middle school. Yes, it’s an elementary school now, but when you show up early and Root Canal can’t sleep so he shows up early, you learn all kinds of fun things! We even viewed the spot where his mom forgot to pick him up one day! (of course, this was back when parents assumed their kids were either fishin’ down by the crick, botherin’ old man Johnson at the five and dime, or trying to get a free refill from the soda jerk at pharmacy lunch counter)
More pax strolled in, not many at first, causing DQ to wonder what the Q had done to run people off. Eventually, a healthy crowd arrived, even if a couple were after SSH’s had commenced!
Tunes were cranked up and we got started!

- It was a lovely cross section of pax, new and old, younger and older, WeFoco and East Side
- Stories of the big golf showdown were regaled by DQ
- Root Canal is getting better everyday (physically, there’s no hope for mental improvement)
- Adobe enjoyed Tabata time
- School buses were heading out and they were loud
- Tunes helped cover the misery
Announcements/Prayers
- Calling all thespians! DQ put out an event for any pax who wants to audition for short plays coming up. “Try outs” are this week
- Full length play by DQ coming this fall (he did not ask pax to audition for this)
- GreeNest this Saturday, come on out!
- Continued prayers for Thistle and recovery/dealing with ongoing hip issue
