Gun: 20sec on, 10 sec off. Squats, Merkins, Elbow Planks, Mutton L, Mutton R. Rinse & repeat 6x. There was some grumbling about when the next set of exercises would manifest. Whoops.

A bit more complicated route than your typical RnG, but YHC had a couple of goals in mind – run past some PAX houses nearby (Palin, Lamb Chop, YHC, nearby to Honey Badger, Sac, and Peacemaker) and run up some gnarly Ardmorian hills (Fenimore between Elgin & Ardsley, Gales between Gaston & Academy, and most notably, Elizabeth between Lockland & Hawthorne).  The Elizabeth St. hill was a #crowdpleaser.

It was a beautiful running morning, high 40s and a crystal clear sky. Palin noted it was his first time wearing long sleeves to a workout this season.  Closer couldn’t remember the last time Run N Gun traversed the Ardmore landscape, and was appreciative of the route.  Juice Box only ran a measly 11 miles yesterday, so I think he showed up out of shame for not running more.  Mutton and Burlap both had very nice things to say about the Elizabeth St hill, I’ll let you decide what they were. There was some good natured chatter about baseball, cars, and food during the tabata portion, you’d think it was a men’s workout group.  YHC enjoyed walking to and from the launch point.

The Work is tonight at 7:30, D Day has the Q

Prayers for Spam (back), Drip (nards), and $5 (lungs).

Thanks for the keys, Closer. YHC threw them in the back of Palin’s truck as I ran by.

Mutton and YHC effectively experimented with walking a steep hill vs running on the last bit of Elizabeth. Result was that Mutton’s walking was roughly equivalent to Burlap’s “running”.

Enjoyed being with you guys. Good job, Burns.
