YHC took us out with prayers to the Sky Q from Psalm 90.

Moleskin:

YHC wasn’t sure what, if anything, would be left in the tank after yesterday’s Memorial Day beatdowns.  Thus, the plan this morning was very loose:  get the heart rate up, keep the heart rate up, and give the pax their money’s worth.

“Don’t you want your speaker?”  Zima, as we ran from launch to the corner of the parking lot.

YHC believes that Palin’s mouth is not connected to his respiratory system.  No one can talk that much while beating the beatdown down as viciously as he does.  Conversely, Mutton just gets it done, quiet and steady.  I feel like I’ve written those exact words before.

“Not only is Greenspan calling this junk, he’s acting like he’s doing it too!”  Paraphrased from Turnover’s actual comment.

Burp Ups were an awful idea.  The pax took off and left YHC in the dust.  Drip was assigned by them to stay back with YHC and put me under, but, being so nice of a guy, he encouraged YHC instead.

Zima upon YHC bringing the pax to a halt at 5th and Cherry for mini-Mary:  “This is a trick.”  It really wasn’t.  It really was YHC’s way of grabbing a blow so that the workout could continue.

Upon announcement of BLIMPS, there was much chattering among the pax.  “BLIMPS are for early in a workout.”  “You can’t do that now.”  “%&*$!”  There were also hints of open rebellion among the pax when they were led down the garbage chute ramp on 2nd Street for hill sprints.  “You led us all the way around downtown just to get here which is 50 yards from where we launched from!”  “You’re just like Bevo [editor:  not nearly as fast as Bevo, but my hair is awesome].”  “We can’t social distance down there.”  Courtesy of Cheesesteak, Bam, and Wobegone.  Bam’s consistency since the lifting of quarantine is already paying huge dividends.  Deep down, he has a soft spot for running too.  Way deep down.  Cheesesteak also alerted YHC to the presence of an abundance of glass on his passenger side post-CoT.  He’s our Mr. Rogers.

Palin got his key back that he left in YHC’s ice chest that was in Turnover’s car.  That’s how crazy things got on Memorial Day.  Fortunately, he had figured out how to use a screwdriver to get his truck started this morning to join us.

On that note, YHC is thankful that all chose the DRP this morning.  Let’s get after it, boys.
