YHC feels obliged to give a short “How we got there” for Buford. Our FNG mentioned his hobby was working on old cars and added he owns a 79 Trans Am. YHC being one of two pax present alive in 1979 asked if it had the bird on the hood (like Burt Reynolds in Smokey and the Bandit) We then tried on a few names Smokey, Bandit,someone mentioned the dogs name. Credit goes to Gucci for remembering Jackie Gleasons character Buford T Justice. There you have it.
