Mild weather greeted the 7 pax that joined YHC in the gloom to rev their engines.

The Thang:

One lap around at mosey pace, one lap with high knees on first straightaway, carioca on the backside straightaway.

Mosey to bottom of Pilot View.  Run up Pilot View to Summit; pick up the six back down the hill.

Mosey back to track:

  • Run 200m, mosey 200m
  • Run 400m, mosey 200m
  • Run 800m, mosey 200m
  • Run 1600m, mosey 200m

Prayer Requests

Keith Vest, BooBoo’s brother-in-law, continues to undergo treatment for cancer.  He’s having a scan this week to check for lesions on his chest.

 

Cheesesteak’s M as she recovers from a concussion in Canada.

 

Peacemaker’s M had her fourth round of chemo postponed to next week due to low nutrafill levels.

 

YHC took out us out with thanks for bodies that work & heal and petitions for those who are suffering physically, mentally, and spiritually.  May the great Healer meet us in our need.

 

NMM:

 

After several weeks of mountain climbing around Hanes Park with track laps thrown in for respite, the majority of this week’s workout was spent on the track.  YHC did include the run-up Pilot View to check the box for gratuitous and unnecessary violence, but promised the pax that it was the only hill we would encounter today.

All got through the 1600m portion on the track.  A couple of pax were working their way back down the ladder when the final whistle blew.

Peacemaker, BooBoo, and Manscape went about their business quietly, as is their custom.

Palin hustled up Pilot View, leading the pax.  Dude also ran a ~6:20 mile on the track.  T-claps!
