A confession.  YHC made no effort at all to keep the Pax dry today.  It was important to establish that as the new Site Q for Purgatory, YHC would tolerate only 100 percent effort by the Q.  Ok, YHC really could not bear the thought of hanging out under the covered area for an hour doing Tabata.  So, YHC put toghether the following:

SSH, arm swirly things forward, jack reachers, arm swirly things reverse, copperhead squats, whirly has the clap.  All x 15, all IC

 

Mosey towards lido deck area, stopping at the bottom of hill.

Run around circle area, returning to bottom of hill.  perform 25 plank jacks.

Run around circle area, returning to bottom of hill.  perform 25 plank jacks.

Run around circle area, returning to bottom of hill.  perform 25 plank jacks.

Run around circle area, returning to bottom of hill.  perform 25 plank jacks.

 

Mosey to lido deck.  We then performed the following:

Go to one hole – perform 5 merkins

go to lido deck – perform 5 dips

go to other hole – perform 5 LBCs

 

Repeat, increasing reps to 10.

Repeat, increasing reps to 15.

Repeat, increasing reps to 20.

 

Mosey to bottom of hill.  Then mosey to top.  Perform 1 burpee, run to bottom of hill.  Perform 1 burpee.  Run to top of hill, continue pattern with 2 burpees, and then 3 burpees.

 

Mosey along rear of school to rock pile.  Pick one medium and one large rock.

With medium rock, perform arm curls x 5.  rotate one to right.  arms curls x 10, rotate one to right.  arm curls x 15, rotate one to right.  arm curls x 20, rotate one to right.

NOW with large rock, arm curls x 20.  Drop rock.

Run around circle.

With medium rock, perform OHP  x 5.  rotate one to right.  OHP x 10, rotate one to right.  OHP x 15, rotate one to right.  OHP x 20, rotate one to right.

NOW with large rock, OHP x 20.  Drop rock.

run around circle.

With medium rock, perform bent over row  x 5.  rotate one to right.  bent over row x 10, rotate one to right.  bent over row x 15, rotate one to right.  bent over row x 20, rotate one to right.

run around circle.

Return rocks.

 

Mosey to side of school.  parter up for DORA 1 2 3.

50 Merkins

100 Squats

150 LBCs

 

During DORA, the heavens truly opened up…..

 

Mosey to front of school to covered area for MARY:  all of the usual hits for a full 6 minutes.

 

DONE!

Thanks to Pax for coming out under less than ideal circumstances.  Strong work by everyone!

A full 2 miles covered today, and 800 calories burned.  Excellent.

Early MC centered around decision to leave the comfort of the covered area.  MC was deserved.  It was awful.  Just awful.

Prayers for Berkley(?) family mentioned by Bam.  Husband just diagnosed with leukemia.

Prayers for Greenacres as he will have shoulder surgery next week.

    My hands were so cold, could t tell if water in the shower was hot or cold. (It was hot)
