YHC felt the urge to substi-Q this morning and put out the smoke signal last night, which was quickly accepted. Since DawgPound had already been thrown out there, YHC kept with the AO and we were off. 8 PAX (including our FNG) marched onward from the dog lot at Tanglewood doing anywhere from 3 to 4.5 miles. Van Gogh, Ice Dancer, and Gamma Ray did the long route while the rest of us did a variation of the short route. YHC was given many props for the creativity of the route, at least that’s what YHC heard. Routes are below:

Welcome to FNG Gamma Ray this morning! He lives nearby and had a short RIRO. Ice Dancer EHed him, who RIROed a different way (ride in, ride out via bike). Gamma Ray is from the mountains of WV and went to WVU. He currently works as a radiologist and has 5 kids including twins.

Kotters, Jiminy! A very pleasant surprise to see you this morning. You smoked the run and it was a pleasure running with you.

The Bourbon Chase training program has commenced and Sour Mash appears to be reaping the benefits of it so far, running virtually the entire 3 mile route. T-Claps, brother.

Spamalot never seemed to get tired, neither did Harden. They are as strong as oxen these days. YHC wants to be like them when YHC grows up.

Van Gogh ran his longest run since recovering from IT band issues. Didn’t seem to miss a beat; however, YHC didn’t see much of VG (or Ice Dancer and Gamma Ray) as they were much farther ahead being fastholes.
