This Saturday, two classic college football teams will meet for only the second time in their storied histories. The Georgia Bulldogs will invade South Bend to take on Notre Dame. To get the pax prepared, YHC wanted to give a little history lesson from the last time they met, Jan 1, 1981.
UGA won 17-10.
We gathered at The Estate and did the .37 mile loop:
Odd numbered loops do 17 of each exercise
Even numbered loops do 10 of each exercise
D – dirkins
A – alternating shoulder taps
W – WWII sit ups
G – gorilla humpers
S – squats
2 pax got in 8 laps, the pax who really loves the DAWGS got in 9.

- Roosevelt and YHC told CP that he didn’t have to stay with us after the warm up/demonstration lap. For some reason, he didn’t protest and he was never to be seen again.
- Roosevelt and YHC had the goal of not getting lapped – mission accomplished!
- The Estate is much busier on Thursday than Monday – whole bunch of runners, cyclists, and Purre Barre folks flying around. #veryannoying #didn’tyouseeourreservation
- Making some gator fans spell out DAWGS was fun. (mostly because they aren’t used to spelling things)
Prayer requests
- Green Acres has an appointment with a neurologist this morning. He has an issue with some blood vessels in his brain stem that is causing problems.
- Big XC meet Friday – 2550 runners descending
- Our BRR brothers and all the folks descending to “leave it on the mountain” this weekend

Great theme! #BAM! could’ve increased the number of loops if he’d have used Buck Belue’s stellar full game QB stats…1 completion, 7 total passing yards. Of course BAM! could’ve also used Herschel Walker’s 150 yards as a rep count too…#WDE

The theme was a real yawner. Reflecting on UGA’s glory days requires more brain power than Cherry Pie cares to muster up at 0530. Yhc enjoyed the company of BAM & Roosevelt however…at least until they left the premises for coffee after the first lap. Come to think of it, they may have joined the FIAs who were streaming into Pure Bar. When in Rome…
Solid workout. Cherry Pie is always inspired by BAM’s creativity. This mng was no disappointment. Go Gators!
