Had the keys to The Distillery today and used the same beatdown that I put together a few weeks ago for Alcatraz. With all the running lately, I thought it was a good switch up to build some strength. Blocks were moved, reps were repped and we even rolled around some puddles.

The thang:
I am no van.gogh but here is my best drawing for The Thang. We utilized the full parking lot for this beatdown and had a light at the middle point. After each block, we completed a lap around the parking lot.

• We were halfway through Block A when Adobe looked over to Ziggy and said “we are doing this for our golf swing on Saturday. Sounds like these guys are about to have the furthest drives of their golf career this weekend.
• Adobe was roughly 1 minute late to warm o rama and we accused him of turning left into Alcatraz for WIB but he stayed straight and ended up at The Distillery (great choice!)
• Tonka used the Big Boy Block this morning. Doesn’t matter though the guy just makes every workout look simple. Tonka and I were talking pre beatdown about how tired we were but do Tonka trucks actually get tired? The answer is simply No.
• Wahoo was wearing a Virginia Tech shirt today and one of the PAX asked if that is how he got the name Wahoo (UVA rivalry). He quickly shut that down and said it’s a long story from when he was on vacation, but we never got the story.
• After COT the PAX hung out for a little before departing talking about Alcatraz and the workout equipment there. It may or may not (it definitely was) have been discussed using the tires to put a PAX in the tire and the other PAX pushing the tire up the hill…..the things you think of before the sun rises huh.
• Music was present today – Playlist was Top 100 Bar Songs
• We missed Blind Date today, but we are praying that his 2.0 gets to feeling better.

Thank y’all for letting me lead today. Keys are back with Blind Date and I let him know I took a nice bottle of bourbon on my way out.
