Arriving at Miller Park, 2/3 of the parking lot was covered in snow/ice (the first indication of danger!). YHC decided the best course of action was to Omaha over to Moore Elementary, where things were less icy (someone should use the school!). Once again – we determined it was too dangerous to run full laps, so Omaha’d to do put and backs on the clear pavement. Brown Bag arrived and informed me that his neighborhood smelled of burned rubber? We surmised that it could have been related to his neighbors oil furnace and receiving a shipment of oil. Shortly after we heard several fire trucks. Brown Bag concluded that it was probably fine and that his neighborhood would most likely still be there after the workout so we soldiered on!
