A Simple TIT
QIC: Green Acres
Date: 1-5-26
PAX: Dr. Toot, Boomerang, Chisel, Schlitz (WB, EC), Palin (EC), Greenspan (EC), Tammy, YHC (Q, WD)
YHC arrived after a slow mosey to Sherwood to see cars of EC runners already parked. Schlitz, Palin, and Greenspan soon came charging up at their 7 min/mile pace to join Chisel, Dr Toot, Boomerang, and Tammy. Tammy placed the shovel flag and we soon got to work. Warmarama: SSH, AV, Whirlies, Y-flies, arm circles, Mike Phelps, squats. To the blocks! Partner up for Dora 123. My new favorite way to Dora is to have one Designated Counting Pair per exercise. That allows for second F chatting and all Pax finish together. We did 100 WWII’s, 200 curls with blocks, 300 skull crushers. Partner jogged minimal amount to a cone in the bus lot and back. Palin and Schlitz were partners but other pairs did all the counting. They were gonna talk anyway so that worked out. 😄
Then to basketball court for Silly Walks: cross the court with Imperial Walker walk, back across with Crab Walk (crowd pleaser), and across with lunge walk. Then to playground equipment for 2 rounds (running short on time!) of 10 pull-ups, 40 merkins, 40 LBC. One more set of 10 pull-ups and off to find a nice wall. We did about 22 feet of Wall Ball Crawl (a Greenspan invention and another crowd pleaser!) on our way back to start for Mary: lo flutter, Mutton crunch, lo dolly, LBC’s and Done!
YHC was pretty wiped 🥵. This crew of tough guys seemed to have an easy time. They smiled and chatted the whole time while I panted and tried to keep things moving with instructions. Dr Toot may be part crab the way he crab walked across the basketball court. Chisel, Toot, Schlitz and Greenspan crushed the pull-ups. Not enough block work for Boomerang and Tammy but they were gracious about it. Just a great morning. Love my F3 friends and appreciate how they push and inspire me. We all worked hard and got stronger.
Boomerang took us out with a nice prayer for students returning to school, Rollback’s M’s shoulder surgery (hopefully last one 🤞) and aging parents/family members. Thanks for letting me lead Tammy. You are doing a great job of Site Q. Until next time friends.
