Florida Loop

QIC: Rubber Ducky

The Florida Loop – If you look at Jamison Park (Mayhem AO) from the satellite, it resembles the state of Florida sort of.

 

This is a .34-mile loop which we PAX affectionately call “The Hill to Nowhere” but I disagree with that.  This needs to be called “The Hill of Pain” or “The Hill Enlightenment”.   Either way, it felt like Florida with the crazy levels of humidity.  So here we go.

Start at bottom of paved track.  Each exercise x 20 reps, run to top of hill, 5 Burpees, run around and close the loop, as many rounds as possible in the 45-minute time.

The Thang:

  • Merkins
  • American Hammers
  • Low Flutters
  • Jump Squats
  • Mike Tysons

Done.

NMM:

  • Glad to have Rudolph back in the saddle. I had been EH’ing him for quite some time, so this goes to show you that persistence pays off.
  • Zima has no gear but fast and does not quit. I had to take a day on Monday after the trail run/ruck, but he just goes non-stop
  • Rollback and Zephyr led the way with what I believe was 7 rounds
  • Hugo is a stud and our war-daddy. Hugo and I rucked for the Sunday outing.
  • Schlitz and I hung together on the last 3 rounds talking about life, and how there is no cure for it with small children. We have all been there.

This workout was simple but not easy.  I am going to keep this in my back pocket for a future Q.  It is perfect for this site.
