Three soggy PAX (Silver Fox, Autobot, and YHC) met at the well-lit shelter, 2nd F already engaged. New Sublime “Until the Sun Explodes” was on my JBL for Warm-a-rama, but we left it behind for the quiet of nature was preferred. It’s a nature preserve at this point – respect. This place feels like a time warp, this morning went by very quickly.

Warm-a-rama:

Broga to get the hips and spine limber

Michael Phelps -> Raise the Roof -> Moroccan Nightclub -> Arm Swirlie Things -> Things Swirlie Arms x10 each and the burn is fr fr.

The Thang: Burns had something planned and I tried my best to stay close, but all I could remember was 6 Burpees. Speed Walk!! Hole 9? Hole 18? I never played the course when it was open, so I’m guessing, but could tell we were travelling from greens to tee boxes. 6 Burpees at the bottom of an extremely steep hill reminiscent of Impossible Situation. Quick uphill! Saw a deer. 30 sec recovery, 6 burpees, 20 merkins. Gotta keep moving! Ran to a cut through to a par 3 green teeming with ants – nope – on to the tee box for 6 burpees. Swift Feet!! Back to start and made it back at 0617.
