$5 Dollar reached out to let me know that he was bringing a couple new FNGs. Its St. Pattys day this weekend. YHC had high hopes and all ideas of doing something cool and themed. NOPE. Turns out YHC googled the first state that came to mind, Alabama. Clicked on F3 Mobile and there most recent BackBlast is what I settled on. Some may say lazy….YHC says, “creative in a pinch”. The mission statement and core principal recited for the new folks. Here we go.

• Stretchy Stretchies for the new guys but really for everybody.

Mosey to the train tracks and (10) pull ups each.

Mosey to the top of the parking deck and we laddered or escalated for groaned like this:

• 10 Burpees
• 10 Burpess + 25 Merkins
• 10 Burpees + 25 Merkins + 50 Lunges (Single Count – #Benevolent Q)

By this point everybody was vocal that this what not much fun. So to push back an impending mutiny and save the morning the Q said something like, ” Well if your tired of this I guess we can mosey”. Turned them frowns upside down!!

• We moseyed down a level or two and 100 Big Boy Situps

It was then that Spicoli appeared and said he heard a duck fart and new it had to be us

• We moseyed down a level or two and 50 lunges
• We moseyed down a level or two and 25 merkins
• We moseyed to the Coal Pit and 10 burpees
• We moseyed to the launch

So the idea that we were going to stand in a circle and complete this Beatdown may have been a bad call. Sounded good….new people….not a lot of moving around to allow some MC and getting to know you. Q fail but it had good intentions. So $5 dollar brought out these two guys and they are now known as Red Pajamas and Handlebar. If you see them at a beatdown and I hope we all do be sure and give them a fist bump. I mean they stuck around through the whole beatdown. And after 100 situps in the parking deck they should have their new tramp stamp. Thanks for the keys Schlitz. Really an honor to lead.
