TRQ – 50 – 25’s

QIC: Rubber Ducky

Date: 1.11.2024

PAX: Bruin, Van Gough, Boomerang, Ziggy Stardust, Bam, Singing Cowboy, Goofy, Green Acres, Rubber Ducky

TRQ – 50-25’s in 27 degree weather.  Should be fun.

Time Wasters – None today.  We were going to be pushing it.

Going through the workup of my Virgin Q at the Rock Quarry, I wanted to make sure we had something challenging but would still work with the Merkin Challenge for January put up by Burnsy.  Everyone was instructed to get a larger rock and (2) small rocks.

The Weinke:

50 Reps of Each.  Following the finish – 25 Merkins until finished or Time

  1. Curls
  2. Front Raises
  3. Bent Over Rows
  4. Skull Crushers
  5. Side Raises – (Small Rocks)
  6. Bench Press
  7. Squat Thrusters
  8. Chest Fly – (Small Rocks)
  9. Upright Row – (Small Rocks)
  10. American Hammer (aka Zelensky Twist)
  11. Low Flutter (Some commented Low Mutter)
  12. WWIII with large rock

Total Reps –

  • Exercises – 600
  • Merkins – 325

Music with the Spotify Algorithm mix of EDM, Mashup of older songs with DJ Mix, Tribal Beats, Senaglize metal drums and just some Old School Soul.  27 degrees and lots of counting kept the PAX quiet except for the Duck and VG flapping their gums on how sore they were from this week.  We sounded like Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau in Grumpy old men.

COT – Prayers for the people hurting, aging parents, flooding victims from this past weeks events and any unspoken ones.

EC Run –2 Miles – Singing Cowboy, Bam and Rubber Ducky.  (Sorry I was way slower than you guys)

Thanks for letting me Q  Green Acres – Keys are behind the dumpster.

Ducky Out!

Always happy to see Merkins on the cardboard! Well planned and well executed beatdown. 👏. Thanks for leading. Love your enthusiasm

Got home from this beatdown and complained to the M about how sore I already was. She recommended that I write a sternly worded letter to management. @Greenacres

Well done – cardboard, rocks, tunes and suffering. Oh, and some good pax also.
