QIC: Burns

Pre run – Burns, Sweet Tea, Bevo, Interference. Much ado about “the hill” & the humidity.

We returned around the same time as the pre-ruckers, Singing Cowboy, BAM, and Bluto

The rest of the merry band of pax joined us and at 0530 we began

WoR – some exercises and then a lap around the big loop…out of the parking lot, across the street, and around the traffic island, then back to the parking lot.

The thang – Start at the top of the weinke then make your way down one exercise/round. Do the exercise(s) and run the big loop, rinse and repeat.

  • 5 burpees
  • 10 squat thrusters
  • 15 bent-over rows
  • 20 OH/Cusack calf raises
  • 25 curls
  • 20 kettlebell swings
  • 15 skull crushers
  • 10 reverse lunges (sc)
  • 5 burpees

Wrap up with about 4 minutes to go for some mary – I can’t remember all of the called exercises…I know for sure there were H2H and American Hammers. I think Cobra crunches and LBCs were the others.

Lace finished the whole weinke and ditched us at 0602. Atrophy was hot on his heels. Most pax got to the final round for a whopping total of 50 burpees,  80 squat thrusters, 105 bent over rows, 120 calf raises, 125 curls, 80 kb swings, 45 skull crushers, and 20 reverse lunges. Lots of large and graceful sweat angels left behind. BAM had questions about my music choices – it was a playlist of music I worked out to solo during COVID…dark times. (playlist)
