Let’s talk about PSA testing and work up a sweat!

A dozen pax gathered for TRQ and got a quick update on prostate cancer screening during warmarama. Recent changes to guidelines suggest that men 55-69 should consult with their doctor and get a PSA test every 1-3 years. YHC is certainly glad for the test I requested that found cancer before it “escaped” the prostate and became metastatic. That’s a whole ‘nuther ballgame!  Ok, climbing down off the soapbox now. 😄 We had a great time with the numbers 28 (# of radiation tx YHC had) and 55 (age to get baseline PSA).
Warmarama:  SSH, Abe V, Whirlies, Imp Walkers, Y flies, Mike Phelps.
Stroll to parking lot in front of Speas. Made our way across the 30 or so parking spaces by lunge walking 3 spaces, 28 merkins, repeat. After 4 sets, D-Day the Wise requested more lunges, so switched to going 5 spaces in between sets of 28 merkins. Ended up getting in 8 sets of 28.
Then to nearby playground for PSA:  28 pull-ups, 55 Squats, 55 American hammers. Second round of PSA was 15, 30, 30.  Then to rocks for 28 reps ea of curls, skull crushers, rows, OH presses, low flutter, chest presses. Repeated curls and skull crushers then back to start. Just enough time for Mutton crunch, 14 IC ea side. Done!

What a strong group!  Cruised through what I thought was a tough workout. Great to see Gold Watch. Spicoli arrived for the end of warmarama and got right to work. May have been a little MC as we “merkined” our way across the parking lot.  😅  All worked hard and got stronger.  Was a pleasure to lead this group of HIM’s.  Kept the keys to the AO so YHC can Q at Purgatory this Saturday!  See ya there! 😃👍🏻
