Date: 08/30/2022

PAX: Manscape, Pinky, Nerdherd, Hitman, Resistor, Bam, Mongoose, Suede, Cobra, Chomper

10 Pax ventured to the West End neighborhood to improve their speed at the historic Hanes Park (c.1919) track. Actually, for YHC it was less about speed improvement and more about seeing the other guys in the gloom as well as having healthy convos pre and post workout.

Here is what went down in the gloom.

Warm-O-Rama
1 lap around the park (a little more than 1 mile)

Track
1600m x 1 with 400m recovery

800m x 1 with 400m recovery

400m x1 with 400m recovery

200m x1 with 200m recovery

400m – repeats until the end (Pinky & Mongoose)

NMM

  • Thanks to Resistor for arriving early to turn the tennis court lights on for the pax
  • Pinky didn’t seem to need a warm-up as he burst his way around the park. He came ready. @Zima would be proud.
  • Hitman arrived on time with no key fob issues this morning
  • The track was still undergoing some improvements so the pax needed to be a little careful
  • Nice to see Nerdherd back-to-back at Redline
  • Resistor / Hitman / Suede kept their company together all morning #isi
  • Bam continues to prepare for the upcoming PM>HR race. He is setting the bar high for those newly arriving #respects…sure Resistor’s Redline cadre will take credit for Bam’s upcoming racing series success.
  • Manscape is always pushing forward in the gloom with his normal resilience
  • Cobra must be prepping for something— double dutch and redline make a combination for quick speed
  • Great work#hims
