Lolli-gaggers – Part Deux

There was once an occasion, which Spicoli will recall, when the Q (yhc) was unable to light a fire and coax the pax into FULL beatdown mode.  Amongst the pax that day were a number of world champion gum-smackers and the mumble chatter reached a mind numbing, never ceasing, always present, unrelenting…low roar.  The Q left the AO feeling fully inept and absolutely defeated.

Lolli-gagging can take different forms and serve a variety of purposes.  Take for example, dusting the desk at the end of the day just so you can spend a little less time at home with the in-laws.  Just saying.  CP is actually blessed with incredible in-laws, but the example fits.

SOOOOO….this morning’s lolli-gagging was a bit more intentional.  The Q arrived at 1 minute past, feeling quite rough around the edges after a long week with little sleep.  Meanwhile, Spicoli and Lamb Chop had their own appearance of reservation and forced enthusiasm.  Both pax were half attempting a standard bend stretch, but neither seemed able to extend fingers beyond mid-thigh.  The Q immediately confirmed that all three pax were in a similar Saturday beatdown mindset….AND THUS, the desire for a little intentional lolli-gagging (ie: slow….maybe medium at times…pace).  The pax was later joined by Boo Boo and Picnic Basket, both of whom seem to have the whole lolli-gagging gig fully in their repertoire.   And so, it went something like this….

  • Great idea via Lamb Chop – those who are able reach out to PAX and FRIENDS with young kids, volunteer to babysit (along with your M) and allow the couple to have a DATE NIGHT…especially those w/out family in town
