ANNOUNCEMENTS:

  • Shmedfest: August 27-28.

NAKED MAN MOLESKIN:

  • Everyone completed 2 full laps!  Two bat flippers (@Fender and @Litterbox) dropped a few H-BOMBS on a third bombing run, but had to turn back before getting too far into the heart of enemy territory.
  • The reverse of direction of the laps and the the close proximity of a few interestingly placed corners allowed the PAX to remain in mumblechatter distance of each other for long periods of time.  That was pleasant.
  • I don’t know why everybody says that @SourMash has the athletic genes in the family (maybe jeans?) because @Schneider is a freaking beast.
  • Speaking of @SourMash, near the end, I inquired as to if he wanted to quit early.  He did NOT and promptly educated me on that point.  #Stamina
  • @Sea-Man again breezed through and didn’t seem tired at all.  Maybe he gets his cardio from chasing around those energetic kids of his!
  • From way, way, way behind, it was fun watching @Fender and @Litterbox push each other.  I had dreams of staying close to that dynamic duo, but after only station #1, that dream was crushed.
  • The Q had monumentally underestimated the difficulty of the workout for himself and was planning on finishing at least 3 laps.  Sadly, I just eeked out 2.  But the challenge was laid down for the frontrunners to finish 4.  Challenge accepted.  Challenge boldly attempted.  Challenge not even remotely close to being accomplished.  Oh well.  But if those two couldn’t do it, nobody can.  There’s always next time though.

PRAYERS:

  • Fender’s wife’s grandmother

Zima said something.
