Pre-Parliament Festivities: TSC and YHC first watched a transaction go down in the SW parking lot before taking off on a 2-mile EC Run. We did not seem to impact business upon our arrival or departure.

Parliament had a very nostalgic feel to it this morning. As the pax began to gather YHC notice a nice gathering of pax who were hanging around when I first began this journey many moons ago.

Mountain Men, Drama Queen and The Singing Cowboy found it fitting to come down out of the mountains and join us this morning. Apparently on their way they picked up Goofy and Organ Grinder for the Parliament reunion of grizzled vets.

Also joining in todays festivities were Crash, Spam-a-lot, Fender and his FNG – Luke, Boomerang, Sour Mash and Ziggy Stardust.

YHC failed the exam handed out by Spam-a-lot regarding the core principals and mission statement, but, most probably expected that – I am just a baller anyway.

5:30 came and off we went:

Nice work by everyone involved. Welcome new FNG Muggsy (Formally known as Luke). Fender let us know he was a Methodist Minster and a really nice guy with 1 kid. Muggsy let us know he was from Greensboro, NBA basketball fan – specifically the Hornets. Grandmama for Larry Johnson or Muggsy were thrown out, vetted and voted upon. Ultimately Muggsy wins.

Announcements

  1. Crash has Mayhem tomorrow – Olympic theme with a running and non-running option. Mash has offered to eat Mexican food and light the torch prior to the start of the event.
  2. Shmedfest – August at the Fairgrounds. DQ has retired but Plunger may show. Lots of options, see DQ for full rundown.
