What’s Up

QIC: Closer

Date: 1/28/2021

PAX: Toe Tag, Cobra, BAM, Tigger and Closer (QIC)

YHC started planning for Q duties earlier this week where all great Q plans should start… the music.  Amazon Music had a 90’s playlist that I cherrypicked from to get 10 songs that would span the 45 minutes.  Once the music was set the rest of the Double Dutch Q came together easily thanks to Dr. Tabata.  With a full plan in hand and many Q’s under my belt YHC didn’t think there was anything to worry about.  Well the weather forecast threatened to throw a wrench into the plans.  This was all that was needed to throw off a good night sleep.  Waking several time throughout the night to check the time, check the accumulation totals, use the bathroom, check the time again and wake thinking I’d slept through Q duties.  YHC felt like a rookie.  Does this happen to anyone else?  Fortunately the 5am alarm sounded and YHC was up.  Roads were only a little wet and the parking garage was waiting for me and the brave PAX that were unafraid to Skip some Rope.

Praise that Cobra’s trip to DC was uneventful last week.  Thanks for keeping the peace!

Prayers for Tigger’s BIL and pregnant SIL that recently tested positive for Covid.

YHC took us out in gratitude for F3 community and for God’s Love, Grace, Peach, Truth and Justice.

NMM

Glad the snow mostly missed us and that there wasn’t any ice so that we could all get after it.  The parking garage was a nice dry shelter.

This Double Dutch thing is tough and is a nice change up.  Come check it out.  All you need is a jump rope.  Bevo has Q 2/4 and Tigger has Q 2/11

Cobra remains the lead jumper with his fancy feet.

BAM remembered to wear shorts with a drawstring which helped make jumping less problematic.

We are now three weeks in to this experiment and Toe Tag can prove that all of our jumping skills are improving.

Tigger brought it strong this morning with his new weighted crossrope.

Cobra brought some strong 90’s trivia.  Did you know that Alanis Morisette was on Nickelodeon as a kid?

This looks interesting. I’d like to try it some time. Of course, I don’t own a jump rope. Those things are expensive. Maybe I’ll ask for one for Christmas. See you in 11 months.
