I had not queued is a couple of months, so felt like a theme was required.  So today we remembered all of my favorite Doctors.  Way too much content, so some sections got cut short and some sections got left out all together.  I appreciate the indulgence of the pax

WARMUP

  • SSH x 15
  • IST x 15
  • Arm Circles x 10 x 2
  • Abe x 5
  • Leg stretches
  • Merkin x 10
  • Squat x 10

MILAM PHARO (great name, childhood pediatrician)

  • Little Baby Crunches x 20
  • Squat JAck x 20
  • Low Dolly x 15
  • Big O x 10 x 2

Dr Theodor Seuss (Author and Illustrator)

  • Favorite Book – Oh, the Places you will Go
  • Mosey around the grounds of Speas Elementary School

Dr Pepper (sugary and delicious soft drink)

  • Pick a medium Rock
  • DRink a Dr Pepper at 10, 2 and 4
  • 10 each of (Curl, Skull Crusher, Chest Press, Bent Over Row, Rock Swing)
  • 2 Jump Squats
  • 4 Merkins

Hawk Eye Pierce (Fictional Doctor from MASH)

  • Pick 3 small rocks – take them with you to the wall
  • In honor of the 4077th MASH unit
  • 40 seconds of wall sit, while chest pressing small rocks
  • 7 Mike Tysons
  • 7 Zuckerburg rebound drills
  • repeat 3 x

My Urologist (Medical professional who extinguished a painful kidney stone a few years ago)

  • Take your 3 small rocks on a lap around the large field
  • stop at every turn for 5 merkins
  • gather in the center of the field – hold rocks over you head and jump up and down 100 times, to simulate a Lithotripsy procedure
  • put all rocks in a single pile and form a plank line next to it
  • pass all rocks underneath the plank line (passing of the now pulverized stone)
  • Return rocks to the pile
  • Mosey to front of school

The Rug Doctor (commercial business entity which employs Butter – and provided the props)

  • perform 5 burpees and earn a button
  • Run 40 years to the poster board and place button in appropriate spot (like Battleship)
  • each spot on the board has an exercise names.  perform that exercise while returning to the starting point
  • repeat until all buttons have been placed on the poster board (see picture)
  • One lucky pax receives a handsome Rug Doctor Trucker hat.   Congratulations Red Eye

BALCO and PROSPECTOR (Medical processionals who diagnosed and repaired my torn miniscus

  • 10 Left Leg step ups
  • 10 right leg step ups
  • 10 box jumps
  • (we were running out of time)

SPLASH (medical professional who likes to run really fast at the end of t workout)

  • walk to end of parking lot
  • Jail break back to starting point
  • 1 time – Pony almost dead

Dr. Jack Kevorkian

  • Body Destroyer x 1 minute

    Between this creative illustration of lithotripsy and Splash’s primer on proteins several weeks back,, #Purgatory has become the premier science workout in WS.
