McDonald’s and F3?

PAX: Argyle, Whirly and Ziggy

Welcome back Ziggy after a ~4 month break while spending a few months in DC.

We started warm-ups at 0530. SSHs, ISTs, Arm circle things and a few plank jacks.

Then we group moseyed to the pool area for dips, steps-up, box jumps, irkins and dirkins.

The PAX then moseyed to the rock pile to pick up a medium-size rock for completing something called “21s”. Note: this is about the time when Whirly informed us he needed to go to McDonald’s. Keep reading for more details.

So the PAX (now 3 of us) took turns calling exercises starting at 21, then 20, then 19, and I hope you get the picture. Between exercises where we man-handled the rocks, we worked on abs. Some flutter kicks, a few LBCs and low dollies. After working our way down to 1, we successfully completed 10 merkins, just for the pure fun of it.

As we moseyed back to start around 6:07 guess who made an appearance. Yes—Whirly. He had returned from McDonald’s to test us with a riddle. “What does McDonald’s and F3 have in common?” Stumped, we asked for the answer and it as “They both make Whirly feel like a new man!”. The PAX understood the reference to F3, but were a little afraid to ask about the reference to McDonald’s. 😊

We ended with 3 Mary exercises and closed out the workout.

Prayers for Bluto’s quick return after hip surgery and an unnamed person at Whirly’s church has an undisclosed, but very serious diagnosis.
