Impossible Situation

QIC: Mutton

Date: 07/07/2019

PAX: Mutton, Palin, Drip, Blossom, Hightower, Cherry Pie, Buyout

6 pax went 60 minutes and 1 pax joined for the final 15 for a Mutton beatdown at Impossible Situation on Saturday.  It was hot and it was humid.  One hour and five pounds lighter, we were done.

The Thang:

Quick warm up lap around the track followed by:  SSH x 25, IST x 20, Monkey Humpers x 20, Whirlys x 20 and finally, 20 Burpees.

Next stop, Pilot View.  As past readers know, I like to run backwards.  We ran backwards up Pilot View stopping twice on the way up for 10 Burpees each stop and 10 more at the top.  That’s 50 Burpees for those counting.

Next was a slow mosey down Pilot View with a stop at the bottom for 20 Low Flutters.  We continued on to the corner of NW Blvd and Reynolda Rd for 23 Squats.

Continuing down Reynolda we stopped for 20 Merkins by the new soccer field, then a sprint up the hill to Reynolda Auditorium.

My intent was to make 5 trips down and up the hill behind the auditorium, but we Omaha’d to 3 trips.  At the bottom of the hill, 10 squats.  At the top of the hill, 10 Burpees.  Mode of transportation – Crawl Bear on the first round, Lunges second round, sprint the third.  That’s 80 Burpees.

Continuing on to the pull up bars.  5 pull ups followed by 10 Burpees.  Total of 15 Pull ups and 20 Burpees.

100 Burpees for the day!!

Last stop is the playground.  2 sets up Reverse Rows on the swings and Crunchy Frogs on the nearby wall.  We had enough time for 15 Mutton Crunches back in the parking lot and called it a day.

Gotta admit, I was whipped after that.  Weighed myself before going to bed and right after the workout.  5 lbs gone.  All water weight.  Thanks to all who cam out.  F3 was birthed at IS in Winston.  The variety of the workout there is awesome and i tried house as much of the park as I could in an hour.
