Dry at Distillery

It being my fourth Q since Friday, YHC had planned a reboot of a workout I had done a long time ago at Bells & Whistles, with a few adjustments being made to account for the availability of cinder blocks at The Distillery.  Alas, it was all for naught , for when I opened my garage door I discovered that it was pouring down rain.   To my knowledge, no rain had been forecasted.  (Thanks, Weatherperson!)    Fortunately, the AO at the The Distillery has a nice covered area that was plenty big enough for the 5 PAX who braved the rain, so we were able to adjust.

WARMARAMA:   A typical medley of SSHs, ISTs, Seal Claps, Overhead Claps, Whirly’s with a clap (with The Man himself in attendance, I had to let him call his namesake exercise), Abe Vigodas, and some standing hamstring stretches.

THE THANG:    The shelter is approximately 20 yards long.   We split up into 2 sides, one with 2 PAX and other with 3 PAX.    Each PAX got himself a cinder block, with a sixth cinder block placed on one end so that everyone would always have one.   On one side of the shelter was a Weinke with shoulder, arm and chest exercises.  On the other side was a Weinke with leg and abdominal exercises.    Each team performed 20 reps of the listed exercise with a cinder block, then locomoted to the other side by way of a technique that YHC called out (a mixture of John Cusacks, Toy Soldiers, Bear Crawls and Broad Jumps), and performed 20 reps of the listed exercise on the other side, passing one another in crossing.  Repeato until we proceeded through both Weinkes.
