9 pax arrived in the sticky humid gloom at VI this morning looking for a US Open themed workout. YHC never promised that theme, but simply warned the workout would be more like Saturday at Shinnecock then Sunday – or in other words (hopefully) painful, miserable, yet strangely enjoyable.

3 Q’s in 4 days created a slight brain drain on creativity which lead to the following workout:

  • Group was almost silent this morning, not much mumble chatter
  • If you need a reason to avoid fastfood venues, just hang around the dumpsters at 0545 and try and due alternating lunges. The wonderful smell of week old hotdogs and hamburgers rotting in 96 degree heat will make you think twice.
  • Schneider really likes Monkey Humpers.
  • DQ did not approve of the travel this morning.
  • 60 minutes is well on his way to Q’ing, nice work today, you can definitely Q it.

    T-claps for Qing the workout today. Not sure if T-claps are necessary for the trip that we went on through the not so finer parts of the Village (i.e. the dumpsters), but it was a sufficient beatdown nonetheless. The PAX appreciate your leadership and effort.
