Having not been to Mayhem in many months, YHC fully intended on posting here a few times before my Q, but alas the convenience of Conspiracy was too much to overcome. Instead, YHC arrived a few minutes early to scout out the AO and make sure that GoogleMaps had not lied to me. Having confirmed that my totally well thought out and time calibrated weinke was fully vetted, I returned to the parking lot to find a growing group of PAX ready to get started. When my little pink wrist watch struck 0530, we were off

Circle Merk: Assume plank position. YHC announced the first merkin type, crucible merkins, and led the group in 10 IC. PAX to my left calls the next merkin and leads 10, then the next… PAX supposed to hold plank between each set. Made it about 1/3 of the way around the circle

Much larger crowd than I was expecting, so the circle merk was pretty painful. PAX got pretty quiet on the MC, save for the cries for mercy. Always makes a Q feel good when PAX are begging to run. YHC picked up the idea at the Ruckus training in GSO over the weekend, somehow it seemed easier with the ruck on.

YHC hopes that everyone’s shoes stayed dry and the workout lived up to Mayhem expectations. YHC struggles to make the drive Wednesday morning with Conspiracy so close by, might have to work on that, maybe.
