Picking up the Substi-Q for Cherry Pie seemed the right thing to do. Knowing I couldn’t fill his shoes, we opted for a +/- 3 mile run. When I awoke at 505, knowing I was supposed to meet fellow PAX for the run in option, I scrambled to get dressed and drive in. Everyone was off and rolling. Good conversation from Juicebox, Glazer, Lysol, Wiki and Bueller?. I had nothing to offer trying to keep up their pace, I was to hypoxic to speak or think clearly. First Lysol and Bueller? Pull away. Then Wiki, fresh off a sub 2 hour 1/2 marathon, turned it on and was pulling away. I closed the gap to JB and Glazer three times. Burlap, Tinker Toy and Mutton rolled in right on our heels. Oh yea, forgot about Vig, Snappy, and Cobra. They were gone in first 1/4 mile so they were literally out of sight and mind(temporarily). All back in to knock out Tabata. Thanks to burlap for the timer and quality music. We did LBC, Squats, Merkins, Lunges,Juanitas, mountain climbers, American hammer and overhead claps for out four rounds of tabata.
