A dozen good eggs at Parliament

PAX: a dozen good Parliamentarians this morning: boomerang, Superfly, Starfish, Crocs (WB), Subfloor, Ziffel -Zibi Wozniak Blind Date, Nelly, Tonka, Adobe, Drama Queen and YHC (WD, Q)
After a crash free (barely!) journey out West to SW Elementary, YHC arrived to find a couple cars already waiting at 520a. Tonka had been running to warm up. Rain had stopped. More cars rolling in. Looking like yet another lucky F3 morning. All omens point to a good workout and social. A little chitchat to catch up with friends and about the chilly breezy weather, and time to start.
MS and CP recited, and Warmarama started on time. SSH, Imp walkers, arm circles, Y-flies, Mike Phelps, squats, Abe V, and on to the Thang.
Dora 1, 2, 3 was first. Partner up. Knowing how errbody hates only doing 100 merkins with a partner and feeling cheated, bad FOMO, and chest not swelling with pride, we started with 100 WWII’s per team. Non-working partners skipped across the parking lot. Then 200 squats, then 300 merkins. There might have been a little grumblechatter but everyone had a smile on their face. At least I think so…it was dark. 🤷♂️
Next was Box of Silly Walks: equal amounts of Toy Soldier walk, crab walk, lunge walk, and bear crawls. Always turning left, about 25-30 yards of each to make a box. Ziffel asked my age during the crab walk. Guess he heard my heavy breathing and was preparing to call 911. 🤷♂️
Then we strolled and caught our breath on the way to the Blocks. Did 15 IC each of curls, SC, b rows, OH press, lo flutter, American hammer, chest presses, LBC, and 15 OYO side-to-side merkins. Blocks up and back to Start for a quick Mary: 15 IC
Heels to Heaven, 3 Huckleberry merkins (still the best crowd pleaser! 😅). Done!
Glad to meet Crocs. Great Dora partner. Nice amount of mumblechatter throughout from Ziffel, Starfish and Boomerang. Silently crushing the workout were Superfly, Subfloor, Adobe, and Nelly. Tonka kept me on time and was out front. Drama Queen helped me navigate the AO. Good to see Blind Date getting after it following recovery from recent surgery. Just a great morning with a bunch of HIM. Thanks for coming out and for patience with my VQ at this AO. Everyone put in good work! #gettingstrongertogether
