The Thang
0600 – The Murph @ Alcatraz
12 HIMs showed up to throw down the standard of selflessness and sweat.
1 mile + 100 pull-ups + 200 merkins + 300 squats + 1 mile = a perfect start.
0700 – IronPAX: Mythbusters Edition
Total PAX: 19
The challenge: beat a time that may not be humanly possible. No team cracked it, but some came uncomfortably close—leading us to believe we may have actual mutants in F3 nation.
Also… chaos. The Q may or may not have explained the workout clearly, leading to a few PAX doing their own “interpretive Mythbusters.” So who knows—maybe the record was breakable and we just botched it.
Either way: sweat, grunts, and one guy mumbling something about blacking out. Classic IronPAX.
0800 – Run to Village Idiocy (Jerry Long Y)
9 PAX headed out. Stops:
-
Linwood Rd: Burpees for the six
-
Agape Church: Squats for the six
-
Peace Haven/Middlebrook: Merkins for the six
Dora at the Y
100 merkins / 200 LBCs / 300 squats. One partner runs, one partner questions every decision.
It was here Bagpipe started getting leg cramps….yet he still finished this thing. Beastmode.
Return Run to Alcatraz
Sun higher, pain deeper, morale still high. Legs are dying at this point.
Ruck to Parliament
Nelly showed up here to join us and cheer us on. There were few words the the others, just groans and a few threats of mutiny. Mr Cramps in his legs Bagpipe rucked with one of Zima’s kids on his back the whole way there and back
Parliament – “Push-Pull-People” (Partner AMRAP, no rucks)
-
5 BooYeah merkins
-
10 Boo Yeah WWIIs
-
15 Leg Throws
10 minutes of synchronized misery.
Final Ruck Back to Alcatraz
Nothing left in the tank—except heart.
COT: The Crucible & The Calling
Reflected on hard things done in brotherhood. Shared CSAUPs remind us that we can push past limits—but only when we’re not alone. I appreciate every single man in F3 and what they bring to this group.
Prayer offered for strength in every part of life—not just workouts.
TClaps to the 9 who completed the whole thing. Respect to the HIM who showed up just in time for the finale. Also, TClaps to Jolly Rancher and White Claw who were there all morning. And maybe… just maybe… someone will one day beat that Mythbusters time. If they can figure out the instructions.
SYITG, brothers.
