YHC took us out sharing some thoughts from this week’s 43 Feet (It’s a) Podcast: “Be prepared”. YHC offered thanks to the Sky Q for our fellowship and lifted up the prayers mentioned above.

Moleskin:

Some of this is true. Maybe.

-Excellent work was put in by all the pax. Everyone made it through round 12, side-lunges, with some having commenced round 13 with burpees when time was called. Mileage was somewhere in the vicinity of 3.25 miles. Great push, fellas.
-YHC’s playlist was solid. So solid that even music from Moana was met with applause, particularly from Van Gogh. Turnover noted that “four of the songs thus far have been Bon Jovi.” Guilty. As if that’s a negative. For the record, there were eight possible Bon Jovi songs mixed into the playlist. YHC thinks we heard six of them during the festivities. Other featured artists included U2, Paul McCartney, Blitzen Trapper, CCR, John Mellencamp, Bob Seger, DJ Kool, Kanye, C&C Music Factory, Armin van Buuren, and Legend.
-Mutton was disappointed, truly, that we didn’t start with burpees. He quickly did the math in his head and concluded that we would have done 110 burpees if we started with that exercise and made it all the way to the round of 15. 110 would have put him over his daily quota by 10.
-Drip really enjoyed the Alabama Prom Dates. “Good practice for later.”
-Huckleberry played the hypocrite, decrying 10 dive bombers after he has made the pax perform 50-100 in each of his past six Qs. I attribute it not to his character but to his recent trip to Colorado.
-Van Gogh obviously read the pre-blast as he called out the absence of a location in the comments section; however, he conveniently missed the logic for the reps, i.e. you do the same rep count for the current exercise and all previous exercises. Van Gogh was half a lap ahead of everyone when he realized his error, and finished two laps ahead once he corrected himself.
-T-claps to Just for Men, Van Gogh, Turnover, and the H.O.G. for EC runs ahead of time. VG asked if we were going to continue doing these extra runs for the rest of the year. YHC’s response: “Yes in March; probably not in June.” VG: “Makes sense. We can run Hanging Rock during the summer months.”
-The H.O.G. went to the wrong Harris Teeter, but ran the six miles to the correct Teeter to join us at the appointed time.
-YHC had a 100-meter lead on Turnover on the last lap, only to finish a good 50 meters behind him. Turnover explained that he was exercising the demons of not finishing the 3,200 meters segment at Redline on Tuesday.
-Cherry Pie and YHC shared injury stories: CP tweaked a hammy a few years back trying to keep up with Thistle, and YHC tweaked his calf during a CP Conspiracy a month ago. Then, lo and behold, Cherry Pie goes and pulled his hammy again during Lt. Dans. Guess what: he was still at the front of the line on the runs despite much care and caution offered by the pax.
-Again, everything about this morning was strong. Thank you guys for your fellowship and encouragement.
-Burns, hope you and the M are well and getting some rest. I’ll drop the keys with Zima for next week’s massacre.

Glad I will miss this Greenspan rendition of WIB. With the math involved, it would get heavy to carry my slide rule with me during the run. Miss you guys. Keep it up.
