Variety is the word of the day at WIB
QIC: Drama Queen

YHC had not Qed or attended WIB in quite a while, but Dr. Toot requested a Q last week at Mayhem and YHC said why not. YHC chose an old location of Harper Hill Commons where some memorable previous WIBs had occurred but a lot of pax have moved on so a new crowd arrived to experience a well lit and central location with lots of variety – more on that later.
Total of 8 pax began with some warmorama featuring several standards and finishing with DQ standard Dry Dock Crabs – most pax still cannot qualify for Olympic breaking team so we cut those short at 6.
On to the thing. The circuit started at the corner of Harris Teeter near Papa John’s and exercise was “slide your VIC card” merkins, from there up the hill to Walgreens for ab station of LBCs, down the sidewalk by Country Club to main entrance of Harper Hill where some benches are located for dips, around to the back side of restaurants and find a curb for Mike Tysons, up to the wall in front of the sports card shop for step ups (each leg) and back to start. First round 5 reps – add 5 reps at each station for every lap.
Most completed 4 laps. Rollback, Zephyr and Dr Toot finished 5 with perhaps some modification. Others had a variety of speeds, reps and location of their laps. Total distance 3 ish miles

Rollback with a weight vest > most all pax without a weight vest. Perhaps burpees are good for you.

Slow Pitch commented on variety of smells at the AO. Japanese food, gasoline, cats, trash, etc. Fresh bread smell not as good here as some grocery store locations but still a great variety. Also extra pair of shoes had been left on sidewalk in case any pax had a need.
Highlight of morning was Rubber Ducky finding a package of feminine products on a bench. My first thought this was a plant from Turnover still seething from yesterday’s rowdy pax and knowing some of us would be in attendance. Pax may have had other comments #MCNSFW

All in all a good variety of pax – old, young, newish to F3, been around a while, fast, slow. A good variety of stops covering multiple muscle groups, a variety of hills, and finally a variety of smells. What more could you ask for.
