COT/BOM: YHC took us out
FIN.
NMM
Having Qd a Beatles-themed workout in the past at Bells & Whistles, YHC decided to Q one with Mick and the boys/old men as the theme. While building the playlist, YHC realized there was entirely too much material, so restricted it to just the Stones of the Sixties, built a playlist from their key first era from 1963-1969 and built a workout honoring the fab five lineup of that strong run before YHC was even born in 1968.
@Lemming was extremely disappointed that “Ruby Tuesday” did not make the playlist cut. #YouCantAlwaysGetWhatYouWant
@Bluto was extremely disappointed that the second “B” exercise called was Burpees, saying that certainly there were other potential choices out there. #YouCantAlwaysGetWhatYouWant
@BAM stormed off in the middle of the workout. #[He]CantGetNoSatisfaction
@Manscape is rocking as he nears TripleRespecthood just like KeithRichards. #TimeIsOn[His]Side
@Airbag (YHC thinks) was our WB this morning. #[He]’sARainbow Actually it’s @FiveDollarFootlong. #TheyreBothRainbows
@FiveDollarFootlong is the one to blame if you didn’t like it because he made the invitation. #LetsSpendThe[Gloom]Together
@TheSingingCowboy, as always, is a man of wealth and taste. #SympathyForTheDevil
@Interference is able and willing to prescribe whatever we need to help recover from the beatdown. #[Pax]’sLittleHelper
Here’s the playlist:
- Time Is On My Side
- (I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction
- Get Off Of My Cloud
- Paint It, Black
- Under My Thumb
- 19th Nervous Breakdown
- Let’s Spend The Night Together
- Mother’s Little Helper
- She’s A Rainbow
- Sympathy For The Devil
- Gimme Shelter
- You Can’t Always Get What You Want
There are a whole lot more Stones tunes, and a whole other Weinke that we can use in a future beatdown. #StonesOfTheSeventiesAndEighties
Thanks for the honor and privilege of leading this morning.
Your friend,
Starfish
