YHC sent out quite the challenging preblast to the DashPAX with fearsome metrics promised beckoning the bold among us. I wouldn’t say the goal was to scare off all the PAX and secure a nice coffee and breakfast for myself, but I wouldn’t say it wasn’t either. Good thing Distillery has an established AAO (Alternate Area of Operation) AKA satellite campus ready to welcome me with hot coffee and warm breakfast. IYKYK.
Of course however, the DashPAX always step up to the challenge and YHC was met with 5 HIM ready to call my bluff in the misty parking lot of Clemmons’ First.
YHC rolled up to an intimidating duo of Slow Pitch and Blind Date donning their cold weather gear in the gathering mist. Blind Date boasting the shovel flag stepping down from his F550 and the two of them looking like a manmercial doing free advertising.
Ziggy Stardust was not far behind our trio and increased the wisdom and IQ of our group at least six fold. This also further tipped the scales as YHC represented the now 25% of PAX present unable to grow facial hair.
Next Van Gogh and Ziffel rounded out our crew and Warmarama ensued. 16.7%. Dang.

YHC took us out thanking the Lord for these men and praying for those who need F3 in our community might find us.

The preblast goal was to warn the PAX that I was going, but they probably shouldn’t go. It’d really be best if they didn’t come. This reverse psychology failed as often is the case when PAX are F2L.
This was a tough one. HR was indeed >= zone 3 and 2.5mi covered. The HIM stepped up and challenged themselves and pushed YHC hard.
Ware you PAX who think you’re man enough to challenge @Van Gogh to a race to the finish. The man hardly picked up his pace or broke a sweat and still crushed my spirit. #TopDawg
VG did have my back on a red head quip from @Ziffel early in warmarama, so the stone cold killer has a heart too.
@Slow Pitch and VG were wargaming an elite slow pitch softball roster for intramurals this coming Spring. Commissioner @Frostbite, let’s get this collegiate athlete back in action and fill that trophy case.
YHC caught @Ziggy Stardust sneaking some extra squat rep counts during the squat mile because 200X was too soft for a Gen Xer. Of course he did not audibly complain, only modified to make it harder and led his Millennial cohorts by example. He also was heard plotting some site improvements at a local AO. #HIM #giveitaway
@Blind Date was back at it with a full body beatdown and making it look easy. The speed was impressive after over a month on the IR. He pushed hard and finished strong. T-claps! Good to have you back full strength.
@Ziffel started the beatdown very unhappy with the Q about squats and running and rain. He made several motions to force YHC to “put it in writing” and promise never to do this to him again. Have your guy send the papers to my guy and I’ll get back to you.
Polish gymnastics during MARY are starting to catch on. It’s a thing. Show to a @Ziffel Q to know and you’ll never be the same.
