It is well documented that #Purgatory can skew a little older in the average age category.  That skew brings with it some humorous and/or confusing moments.  One example is that a few years back during prayer requests, a pax lifted up our “aging parents” but many of us heard “Asian parents.”  Of course that led us to think of the scene in Animal House when Bluto talked about when “the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor.”  But overall, it’s a delightful group of pax who are always willing to work hard.  (well mostly, but that’s ok Boo Boo has to have someone to talk to about anything and everything)

On a morning with wonderful temps and a crotchety Q, large numbers decided to come out to a Ragnar-friendly beatdown!  The pax kept rolling in and looked like they generally didn’t get out of bed just for coffeteria afterwards, so the Q tried to help make the time pass quickly!

  • Pony does not like running with rocks
  • YHC always thought Boomerang was being difficult when he asks multiple times for instructions to be repeated, but beginning to think he just doesn’t understand or remember how things go.  (he’s retired, so we should be nice to him)
  • Tuna Roll was very gracious when he got stuck with YHC as a partner on Catch Me if You Can.
  • Boo Boo talked about Boo Boo things with various pax, walking slower each time
  • During prayer requests Starfish shared that Chicken Biscuit will be leaving an in-patient recovery program this week.  YHC then said “Addiction sucks”, well when you combine YHC’s tendency to mumble and the declining hearing of many pax, they either heard “A Dixon Sucks” or just “Dixon Sucks”
  • Most pax thought it was plausible that YHC would say something like that
